MLADEN PAVKOVIC

The story that journalist Mladen Pavković has told through his Croatian Homeland War writings and photographs serves as a deep and lasting dedication to the memory of those who deserve a place in eternity.  His constancy in bearing witness to this time, in capturing important moments, in encouraging others to think and to sympathize, reveals his spiritual imprint.

This productive author, a friend of writers, creative artists and veterans, organizer of events and exhibitions, documentary screenwriter, lover of humanity, has undoubtedly succeeded in his noble efforts to immortalize the defensive struggle for an independent and free Croatian state.

The achievements of this man are exceedingly impressive. And most importantly, this is not the end. Mladen continues to work, move, write, and create with the flowing energy of the Drava River, along which he grew up. He does not want to do otherwise. He probably cannot. He is moved by the power of an internal spring whose source is perpetual.
