Paul J. Koepke passed away today. Our dear friend, a man with a unique and giant heart that shone for truth and justice for every person. An immense spirit of optimism that always saw and emphasized only the beautiful and good, who deeply valued the freedom of mankind. Native born Texan, American patriot, promoter of Croatian independence and liberty, and supporter of this Croatian Film Institute. US Navy Senior Officer, R.E.Specialist. We passed through many storms, but our common ship with unfurled sails sailed on a blue sea lit by the sun.

Dear Paul,

You did many fine things for others and you didn't want people to know about them! You will live forever in our hearts!

With your saying accompanied by your deep spiritual view: "Drink red wine & have a good time", we say goodbye to a great man.

Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart, Paul!

Dear family & friends,

Paul went to Heaven early this morning.

Probably had a glass of red wine handed to him upon his arrival as his many friends & family greeted him.

He now has access to the mysteries of life and beyond.

Oh what wonders of the Universe he's exploring.

Paul did not want a traditional religious funeral service. Instead he preferred to have those inclined to have a glass of red wine, remember the good times shared with him and do something nice for someone else each day, especially without being found out. In keeping with his wishes, a celebration of life may be planned in the future.

And as he says, "Be at peace; All is well".
